This gives us a chance to meet you personally and discuss in detail what your specific requirements are at a time and date that suits you. We will go through your home room by room, noting down the items you would like to ship and make note of any special requirements you may have; after all each move we make is different. This is the perfect time to ask your representative any questions you may have or concerns you have about the moving process.

Things we take into consideration during the pre-move survey

 

  • The weight (if by air) and volume of the shipment
  • Items requiring special handling (piano, safe) and storage
  • Packing/unpacking services required
  • Handyman services required
  • Disassembly and assembly of furniture
  • Shipment inventory
  • Access issues to residences- such as parking permits, access to lifts in apartments and any special booking requirements
  • Insurance
  • Duration of shipment and any additional services that may be required
